Vintage mahogany cupboard. This is VERY little, please check dimensions.
Painted in thick layers of Annie Sloan chalk paint I always sand items prior to painting to ensure the paint adheres well. The paint has been distressed back to wood in some areas to age it and to reveal the green of the undercoat. The paint has been applied thickly and with texture. I aim to recreate the feel of a genuinely aged bohemian piece. Decorated using decoupage vintage images, the decoupage has been printed in fade resistant ink designed to last up to 100 years before any fading occurs. I then paint thickly across the top to blend the decoupage. The text reads 'oh balls’.
Finally varnished with floor varnish for a durable finish. This can be dusted with a lightly dampened cloth.
This is a vintage piece and structurally sound and sturdy. It may have the odd life mark on but is in very good condition. The drawers slide easily. The original key remains and functions. The doors latch securely. The shelf is removeable. The insides are good and clean.
