Rainbow Painted Jewellery or Keepsake Box- 'Pi** off'
A very lightweight pine box, painted in thick layers of paint. The wording appears in the multicoloured undercoat. Distressed all over to age it and to further reveal the contrasting undercoat.
Also, painted inside.
Finally, varnished with a floor varnish to create a durable surface.
I paint thickly, with texture and dribbles in order to create the feel of a genuinely aged bohemian piece.
