Painted Jewellery or Keepsake Box- 'You Are So Loved'
A very lightweight pine box, painted in thick layers of paint. The wording appears in the green undercoat. The image is a vintage artwork, printed in fade resistant ink, applied using the decoupage technique. The box has then been distressed all over to age it and to further reveal the contrasting undercoat. I aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged, bohemian piece.
Painted inside.
Finally, varnished with a floor varnish to create a durable surface.
